This informative, hands-on class takes a deeper look into prenatal massage, including common pathologies, positioning, debunking prenatal myths, various techniques, birth trauma, and postpartum depression for beginners or massage veterans.
 
When: Saturday August 29th and Sunday August 30th, 2025 9-6pm
Where: North Country Community College, 4 BrandyBrook Road, Saranac Lake, NY 
Cost: $399/person
Cancellation policy: A 2-week cancellation notice is required to receive a refund. 
What You Will Need: 2 sets of massage sheets, 4 headrest covers a blanket, and a pillow. If you have a sidelying pillow and/or pregnancy pillow, please bring it. Topicals will be provided, but feel free to bring a topical of your choice. Please dress comfortably. 
 
Area Accommodations: Saranac Lake is near Lake Placid, so there are many hotel options both in town and nearby, as well as restaurants. The school also has a lounge with a refrigerator and microwave. Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring what you like. PLEASE NOTE: The school building is in an older part of the campus, and does not have an elevator. The massage classroom is on 3rd floor.
