Massage & The Grief Experience is a unique massage therapy continuing education course discussing the physical and emotional ramifications of grief, and how massage therapy can support the process. The class discusses the stages and kinds of grief, the physical manifestations of grief, an understanding of commonly prescribed medications for those struggling with grief-influenced anxiety and depression, how to work with grief counselors and respect our scope of practice, discussion of trauma-related grief and PTSD and an intro to hospice massage.
This class is approved for 8 CEUS, both NCBTMB, FSMTB, and NY, for massage therapy credit.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation made after June 25th will result in a forfeit of payment. In the event of an emergency, you will be given a credit towards another course.
